Should I give her one???

The picture above was taken last in order of three.

The one below was second.

And this picture was first. In the hotel room, Dalton and his cousin had some of these sweet and sour gummy things. Here is Hope smiling to get her brother to share. As you can see in the above 2 pictures, this is what your first "sweet and sour high" does to you.

Hope and Daddy

I took this pic before we left for a family wedding. I thought it was so cute.

This has to be the BIGGEST sandpile in town.

Bruce helped the kids put away the pool for the year. We had made a huge platform for it this year. It was a 26ft. diameter circle with a rock base and 40 tons of sand. Bruce said they could keep that for a sand pile and them we will move the pool back further next year. Anyway, here they are in the new sand for the first time on this beautiful day. This was Hope's first time in the sand.
I have to stick and edit in here. Dalton told me today that the co-op has a bigger pile than we do. So we are the second biggest in town, I'm sure.

Shelbie and Mom

Do you see any resemblance? Look at her beautiful eyes.

Dalton and Shelbie bobbing for apples!!!

They had so much fun and the weather was so beautiful. I won't tell you who got more, you will have to ask them.

Daddy's hands

Isn't that sweet? Hope was sleeping on Bruce's lap and I couldn't resist the picture.

Here we are, can you believe we have come this far. When the Bible says, "With God all things are possible." He really means even us!! I am so lucky:-)

BANANA OR SUCKER? you decide

"This was my first attempt at a sucker. Mom said she preferred I didn't try one. My bro and sis thought I should. Mom just hates the sticky stuff. And by looking at this picture, I think you can tell I do tell which one I liked better.

She stands alone!! 10/16/08

Hope playing ball for the first time and maybe... understanding?

Watch at the end she blows you all a kiss.

Thank You G'ma and G'pa

I had to take a midterm online last night. So - to keep the peace here for a while G'ma and G'pa came up after a hard days work to have pizza (gluten free of course), with the kids. This itme it was BBQ Beef. G'pa enjoyed hugs and kisses and RFDTV(polka, rodeos, etc.). G'ma gave Hope a bath, looked at some material with Shelbie (go figure) and spared me some free time to work. Thanks again G'ma and G'pa
(For all who remember the Lorimorian, doesn't that sound like it came from there)

Shelbie at her last game before tournaments next weekend.

Shelbie needed a refresher during her break. What a beautiful day for soccer. Southern breeze and low 80's. Doesn't get any better for October here.

Dalton's last soccer game before tournaments

I love this picture of Dalton and his teammates leaving the field.

Hope and her new car

Dalton and I were on our way home from soccer and found this on the curb. Yeah --- I know I have not been junkin' in so long, but could not pass up this good thing today. Just had to share the video.

Sorry the video is sideways, tried to fix:-(

Enjoy anyway.

Shelbie's last night of volleyball

Shelbie played volleyball this year in Story City at their new Rec Center. They have community volleyball for girls, 3rd and 4th together and 5th and 6th together. She played 2x's per week. We thought it would be a fun way to find out how much she liked it or not, and if she did - to be able to play with and learn with some girls her age. This was a picture from parents night, the girls played all of us. It was lots of fun!!! FYI. the other girl in yellow on her team is Chris Lybarger's step sister!

Does anything in this picture look different to you?
